Islamabad ——- In the case No. 2479/2025 filed by the CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA) in the Islamabad High Court, Honorable Judge Justice Inam Amin Minhas issued orders to the CDA administration to allot plots to employees without taking the approval of the summary from the Cabinet. It should be noted that the CDA administration had expressed its consent to allot plots to CDA employees in the Islamabad High Court on March 13, 2025. However, the CDA had taken the position that the CDA is ready to give it after getting the approval from the Cabinet as per the decision of Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb. On this, the lawyer of the CDA Mazdoor Union, Syed Naeem Bukhari, while giving arguments, said that there are decisions of Justice Maulvi Anwarul Haq of the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench, Honorable Justice Bhagwan Das of the Supreme Court and Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to allot plots to CDA employees. In the light of these decisions, there is no need to take approval from the Cabinet. He requested the Honorable Court That they issue orders to the CDA to immediately give plots to the employees, on which Justice Inam Amin Minhas, recalling the decision that had been approved by the cabinet, directed the CDA to issue allotments of plots to the employees itself and the case was postponed until the first week of September. The decision caused a wave of joy among the employees and on this occasion, the leader of the CDA Mazdoor Union, Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, expressed immense gratitude to Allah Almighty and said that today is a historic day. With today’s decision, Insha Allah, plots will be given to the CDA employees very soon through a lottery. He said that Alhamdulillah, in 2006 too, the CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA) had given about four thousand plots to the employees and now Insha Allah, the CDA Mazdoor Union (CBA) will again provide plots to the employees, which will surely make the CDA employees happy. He requested the Chairman CDA and the administration to immediately conduct the lottery as per the court’s order. Set a date for the launch so that the industrial peace of the organization can be maintained.
