The funeral prayer of martyr Seyyed Ali Khamenei was offered in absentia at the Al-Furqan Grand Mosque
The main funeral prayer of martyr Seyyed Ali Khamenei was offered in absentia at the Al-Furqan Grand Mosque in Islamabad in an atmosphere of great devotion, respect and compassion. The funeral prayer was led by Deputy Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Mian Muhammad Aslam, while a large number of scholars, political leaders and citizens of different schools of thought, including Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad Nasrullah Randhawa, attended and expressed their deep love for the martyr.
Speaking after the funeral prayer, Mian Muhammad Aslam said that we pay full tribute to the perseverance, courage and resistance of Ayatollah Khamenei. He prayed that Allah Almighty may grant the honor of acceptance to his great struggle, unwavering steadfastness and martyrdom. He said that the eyes of a proud Muslim are always on Allah Almighty and such great personalities always live in the pages of history even after their physical departure.
Speaking on the occasion, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad Nasrullah Randhawa said that he had dedicated his 86 years of life to the nation and his country. Despite his old age, he remained steadfast in the field with determination and courage. His martyrdom is a clear and unequivocal message for the weak believers that true martyrdom is not achieved in a life of slavery.
At the end, a special prayer was also offered for the elevation of the ranks of the martyr, the unity of the Muslim Ummah and the relief of the oppressed Muslims, while the participants reiterated their resolve to continue the mission of the martyr.
