BNP candidate and former attorney general Md Asaduzzaman has unofficially won from the Jhenaidah-1 (Shailkupa) constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
According to unofficial results received from all polling centres, Asaduzzaman secured 171,598 votes, while his nearest rival, Jamaat candidate Matiur Rahman, obtained 55,577 votes.
