Afghan government has made full preparations for the return of Afghan citizens living in Pakistan

Afghan Consul General Hafiz Mohibullah Shakir, posted in Peshawar, has said that the Afghan government has made full preparations for the return of Afghan citizens living in Pakistan and a special commission has also been established in this regard.

Addressing a press conference at the Afghan Consulate in Peshawar on Wednesday, Mohibullah said that camps have been set up for the return of Afghan citizens and all facilities, including transport, are being provided to them so that they do not face any kind of problem.

The Consul General said that ‘Amir-ul-Momineen is happy with the return of Afghan citizens. Afghans living in Pakistan have benefited from education, business and employment opportunities here for four decades and earned halal livelihood here, for which we are grateful to Pakistan. However, now it is time for them to return to their homeland and contribute to its development.’

He said that Afghanistan is now independent, there are neither Russian nor American forces there, and an atmosphere of peace and stability has prevailed in the country. ‘There is no shortage of water and land in Afghanistan, the entire country will be settled.’

When asked about women’s education, Hafiz Mohibullah said, ‘Islam teaches education, and there is no restriction on education in Afghanistan, however, the education system is being reviewed. Separate institutions will be established for women’s education so that a safe environment is available for them.’

He said that so far 76,000 Afghan refugees have returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan, and the remaining citizens are also requested to prepare for their return.

In conclusion, he said, ‘There is no complaint from Pakistan, there was full cooperation with the refugees here, but one’s own homeland is one’s own. The leaders of Afghanistan are standing with their people, no one needs to worry.’
