Islamabad : Asif Luqman Qazi, Director External Affairs Jamaat e Islamic (JI) Pakistan, said on April 20, the biggest march in the country’s history will be held in Islamabad to express solidarity with the Palestinian people.
He added on April 22, a strike will be held across Pakistan. He is in touch with Islamic and human rights organizations around the world. He told Newman that it was sure that a unanimous protest will be held at the global level on the same day. JI is holding a Gaza march in Multan on April 18. He demanded America should stop supporting Israeli terrorism and establish a ceasefire in Gaza. He said “I tell the rulers of all Islamic countries, including Pakistan were afraid of America. He appealed to the nation to boycott all those products that benefit Israel. “We know that the country is facing difficult circumstances. It is our religious and moral duty to raise our voice for our brothers and sisters in Gaza. All business organizations should agree and unite for a strike. There will be a march from Aab Para to the US Embassy on April 22”, he claimed. He said the government should not try to stop the peaceful protest. He observed that If we help the Palestinians, Allah will help us. If they stop the protest, it will help the pro-Israel forces. He said the entire nation is coming out for the people of Gaza, there were historic protests in Lahore and Karachi and the people are expressing hatred for Israel, he said . Mr Qazi noted that genocide is being committed in Gaza, Israel is targeting children in Gaza and killing them, it is a brutal enemy, it loves blood and dropping bombs on civilian people, He said Hamas is exercising its legal right against Israel. JI senior leader added that the occupying army can be fought with weapons, Hamas is being told to lay down its arms, this will never happen. He said that Muslim rulers will have to come forward, Israel is killing children after losing the war. Pakistan should play a leading role, he said that why are the major political parties of Pakistan not condemning America, what action has the government taken against the Pakistanis who went to Israel, we should be told. He demanded that the government should take action against those who travelled to Israel. He said that they will not allow the blood of the Palestinians to be traded. “If we help the Palestinians, Allah will help us, if the protest is stopped, the pro-Israel forces will be helped. He said that in the coming days, pressure may be exerted to recognize Israel. Israel should not be recognized at all, but rather those countries that have recognized Israel should also be appealed to sever ties with the Zionist state.
