Saudi Arabia has issued instructions for foreigners, failure to comply with which will be a punishable offense.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior says that the deadline for the return of foreigners residing on Umrah visas is April 29, foreigners must strictly follow the instructions.
A spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Interior says that action will be taken against those who go to Mecca without permission, and residing in Mecca without a Hajj visa is an unpunishable offense.
A permit will also be required to enter the holy shrine, and citizens of Gulf countries will also not be able to enter without an Umrah permit.
In this regard, the ministry says that the Hajj season will begin after the specified date and the stay of Umrah pilgrims in Saudi Arabia after that will be considered illegal.
Umrah pilgrims who stay in the country after the specified date will be found guilty of violating immigration laws, for which a fine has been imposed.
Earlier, the ministry had also imposed a fine of 100,000 riyals for delaying the return of Umrah pilgrims and had directed that companies under which Umrah pilgrims from abroad come to the kingdom should ensure the return of pilgrims coming to the kingdom under their management on time in order to avoid heavy fines.
