The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has appointed Pakistan Observer Chairman and CEO Faisal Zahid Malik as the convener of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Media Broadcasting for the year 2026. According to an official notification issued in this regard, Faisal Zahid Malik has been authorized to include at least nine professionals and experienced individuals from the media broadcasting sector from across the country in his committee. He has been directed to convene a meeting of the committee within 30 days of nomination, while the meeting and performance report will be submitted to the FPCCI Secretariat on a quarterly basis. The letter issued by FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh said that the performance of the committee will be evaluated on a quarterly basis and in case of lack of active role, the convenership can also be withdrawn. The letter has expressed the determination that the committee will come up with effective suggestions and initiatives in the field of media broadcasting in close coordination with the FPCCI Secretariat.
