Naib Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch chaired the political, local government and coordination committee meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab in Mansoura and visited the referendum campuses of Nawab Town, Liberty, Gulberg, Faisal Town Mochipora and Multan Road Mansoura in Lahore and while speaking on the occasion said that the people are expressing their strong opinion against the black law made after the amendments to the Punjab Local Government Act. The people are protesting against the taking away of their rights, the people want an empowered local government system. The Punjab Local Government Act is a black law of rebellion against the constitution and imposing bureaucracy/bureaucracy, unelected institutions over the elected representatives of the people. Not only in Punjab but also the PPP Sindh, PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan coalition government is not ready to give the people a system of empowered local governments. The movement for an empowered local government system in Punjab will spread throughout the country. Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its struggle for an empowered local government system as a nursery for democracy and a sustainable democratic system. The ruling parties and the civil military establishment are all united and united in their voices to prevent the empowered local government system and student union elections in universities and colleges to maintain the domination of families, luxury elites and vested interests over the people. Only public power and peaceful democratic resistance will repel the unconstitutional and undemocratic mafias. Liaquat Baloch said that US President Trump has not fulfilled the promise he made to the leaders of Muslim countries for the Gaza peace agreement and has taken the path of complete deviation. President Trump has become a highly controversial figure in the international community by reneging on international commitments and agreements through his contradictory actions. Deprivation of the Nobel Prize has pushed him on the path of destroying world peace. American democratic institutions, American wise leaders and the people must stop the anti-peace measures of the American President, otherwise Trump will prove to be Gorbachev for America. Liaquat Baloch said in a meeting with the leaders of the Kisan Board that the federal and provincial governments are completely destroying agriculture and farmers. The third season and harvest of wheat is coming, but the federal and provincial governments are not ready to take any revolutionary steps to compensate the losses of the farmers. The wheat farmer has been ruined, now the price of flour and bread is increasing on a daily basis. The government has buried the farmer alive and the middleman mafia is being patronized on the earnings of their hard work. The farmer of wheat, cotton, rice, potato and sugarcane has gone mad, the government should wake up. Jamaat-e-Islami will launch an organized movement across the country to save agriculture from destruction. #
