Naib Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, former parliamentary leader Liaquat Baloch has said on the 79th foundation day of the Islamic Students’ Union of Pakistan that the Islamic Students’ Union of Pakistan is a nationwide, organized, Islamic ideological and youth representative organization. The youth of the Islamic Students’ Union have made eternal sacrifices for the two-nation ideology and the protection of Pakistan. The Union is a benevolent organization of the new generation; in the era of education system, state system, social system, morality, and independence, the Union is fulfilling its religious and national duty to spread the message of the Oneness of Allah and the Last of the Prophets and Messengers, the Benefactor of Humanity, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him), among the students, male and female students and youth. In the face of the anti-national policy of the mental slaves occupying the power, policy makers and the state system and the strategy of disappointing the youth, the Islamic Students’ Union is continuing its struggle for establishing the religion and calling to religion as strong as a rock. Liaquat Baloch congratulated the Director General of the Islamic Students’ Union, Hassan Bilal Hashmi, and Secretary General Waseem Haider on the 79th Foundation Day of the Union and said that the entire nation, especially the parents/guardians of the new generation, have great hopes for the Islamic Students’ Union. The Union should continue its struggle on the fronts of education, mind and character building, unity of the nation and national security, and every conspiracy and obstacle should be confronted with wisdom, prudence and wisdom through a peaceful struggle. Liaquat Baloch, while addressing the book launch ceremony of renowned political, social, academic personality and senior central leader of the Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Farid Ahmed Paracha, said that Maulana Maududi bound the struggle for the establishment of religion to the constitutional, political, democratic, and mind-building spheres of Da’wah-e-Deen to keep it peaceful; Maulana Maududi clearly clarified the lasting relationship between the scope of the state and the protection of the fundamental rights of the people; clarified the foundations of the Islamic constitution, legislation, and the procedure of Ijtihad. Islamic movements around the world agreed that the plan of action given by Maulana Maududi for the struggle for the establishment of religion was the sustainable and safe path for constitutional, political, and peaceful democratic struggle. After the fall of East Pakistan in 1971, baseless false negative propaganda was carried out against Jamaat-e-Islami at the behest of India, and the ground for Jamaat-e-Islami in Bangladesh was narrowed, but when Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maududi was asked under what name should the Islamic movement work in these circumstances? Maulana replied that it should work under the name of Jamaat-e-Islami. Praise be to God! Today, the enemies of the two-nation theory in Bangladesh and those who spread oppression and propaganda under the lap and umbrella of India have become a lesson; in Bangladesh, the people have naturally risen up against the love of Islam and Indian supremacy, Jamaat-e-Islami has become a popular party in Bangladesh on ideological grounds. The entire Bangladesh is protesting against India on the martyrdom of the young leader Usman Hadi. Liaquat Baloch, while talking to the leaders of the organizational provinces and constituencies of Jamaat-e-Islami in Punjab, Muhammad Javed Kasuri, Dr. Tariq Saleem, Syed Zeeshan Akhtar, Nasrullah Randhawa, Ziauddin Ansari, in a Zoom online meeting, said that the people have rejected the black law in protests and sit-ins against the Punjab government’s black law. The people want an empowered local government system. An empowered, dignified, resourceful local government system is the constitutional democratic fundamental right of the people. There will be a public referendum in Punjab on January 15. The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami has called a meeting on December 28 to decide on the public communication campaign for the referendum and the details of the referendum.
