Islamabad – Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Secretary General Iqbal Khan has said that the historic Ijtma-e-Aam of Jamaat-e-Islami, scheduled to be held at Minar-e-Pakistan from November 21 to 23, will serve as a powerful manifestation of national unity and solidarity. He said the upcoming gathering would set new records in terms of public participation and would prove to be a harbinger of a bright political and national dawn. Iqbal Khan emphasized that to achieve the vision of a safe, strong, and developed Pakistan, every citizen must join Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman’s “Badal Do Nizam” movement. He said that thousands of men, women, and youth from Northern Punjab would actively participate in the public gathering.
He expressed these views while addressing a special meeting of the District Shura, Zonal Nazm, UC Umra, and Baradar Tanzeem under Jamaat-e-Islami Talagang. On this occasion, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami District Talagang Professor Muhammad Tahir Malik and other local leaders also addressed the gathering.
Iqbal Khan urged party workers to mobilize citizens for large-scale participation in the historic event and to encourage them to join Jamaat-e-Islami’s peaceful struggle to end the outdated and corrupt system. He said the Minar-e-Pakistan Ijtma-e-Aam would mark the beginning of a decisive phase in this national movement, aiming to restore people’s basic rights, implement the Islamic system, and ensure a dignified life for all citizens.
He further added that with the slogan “Change the System”, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman would present a comprehensive plan of action for peaceful national resistance and struggle during the Ajtma-e-Aam.
