A huge by-election battle is going to be held in Sialkot’s PP-52 constituency today

, in which three major parties, PML-N, Tehreek-e-Insaf and PPP Parliamentarians have fielded their candidates. Polling will continue from 8 am to 5 pm. The PP-52 seat fell vacant after the death of PML-N MPA Arshad Warraich. PML-N’s Hina Arshad, PTI-backed candidate Fakhir Nishat and PPP’s Raheel Kamran Cheema are contesting. The total number of voters in the constituency is 297,185, with 157,725 male voters. The number of female voters in the constituency is 139,460. Today, a huge election battle is going to be held in the by-election in Sialkot constituency PP-52, in which three major parties, PML-N, Tehreek-e-Insaf and PPP Parliamentarians have fielded their candidates. In the last elections, PTI-backed candidate Fakhar Nishat Ghuman had secured 49,850 votes and PML-N’s Chaudhry Arshad Javed Warraich had won from here by securing 58,385 votes. Among the other candidates, TLP candidate Muhammad Shafqat got 11,674 votes, PPP’s Zia Hassan got 1,889 votes, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Muhammad Shafiq got 2,508 votes, MML’s Muhammad Adnan got 1,663 votes, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT)’s Saleem Mir got 737 votes, PNP’s Hassan Tauqir Cheema got 455 votes and among the independent candidates, Umar Shahzad Ghuman got 4,340 votes, Nafees Ahmed Khan got 1,121 votes, Talat Rashid got 620 votes, Umar Javed got 1,121 votes. Ghuman got 510 votes, Chaudhry Muhammad Azeem Ghuman got 505 votes, Hassan Tauqir Cheema got 455 votes, Ahmed Aslam got 409 votes, Bilal Hussain got 312 votes, Umar Ehsan Ghuman got 244 votes, Kishor Sultana got 202 votes, Wasim Akram got 127 votes, Zahid Wakil got 104 votes, Zubair Aslam got 75 votes, Idrees Ahmed Cheema got 73 votes, Nasir Mahmood Cheema got 46 votes, Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema got 43 votes, Abdul Man got 34 votes, Shahriar Shahzad Ghuman got 32 votes, Sabir Hussain Bhatti got 23 votes, Zia Hai got 12 votes and independent candidate Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmed got 12 votes.
