Islamabad; 22nd May, : Meeting of the Standing Committee on Human Rights was held at 11:00 a.m. in the Parliament House, Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Sahibzada Muhammad Hamid Raza, MNA.
- The meeting commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran. The Chairman apprised that meeting of the Standing Committee on Human Rights could not be convened as most of the Members are busy in connection with the Session of National Assembly. Therefore, he postponed the meeting of the said Committee and decided to convene it during the next week.
- The meeting was attended by the MNA’s, Ms. Shahida Rehmani, Ms. Saba Sadiq, Ms. Sabheen Ghoury, Mr. Naveed Amir. Senior officers from Ministries of Human Rights, Law & Justice, Interior and FIA were also present in the meeting.
